Customs Expands Hours at Washington/Canada Border Crossing
Editor's summary:
United States — U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is expanding the hours of operation at Washington state's Lynden port of entry. From February 5 to February 28 southbound traffic lanes will open at 5 a.m. daily for both passenger and commercial traffic into the U.S.
While the CBP statement about the longer hours of operation makes no mention of the Vancouver Olympic Winter Games, presumably the heavier border traffic expected for the event is the reason for the change.
