6.0 Earthquake off Northern California Coastline

United States — The U.S. Geological Survey reported an earthquake with an initial magnitude of 6.0 off the coast of Northern California today. The quake struck about 35 miles west-northwest from Petrolia at about 12:20 PM local time.
According to the West Coast and Alaska Tsunami Warning Center (WCATWC), a tsunami is not expected.
