Iraq — Today, Sunday, March 7 Iraqis are voting in parliamentary elections. The Guardian reports that despite as many as 50 mortars and rockets being fired just before the polls opened, the turnout is expected to be in the range of 40-60% of the 19 million Iraqis registered to vote.
