Police Find Suspected ETA Explosives Cache in Portugal
Editor's summary:
Portugal — Portuguese police on Friday (2/5) seized half a ton of explosives and other evidence that they suspect belongs to the Basque terrorist group ETA. The discovery was made at a home in Casal da Averala, near the central Portuguese town of Obidos.
The European media is speculating that if the cache does belong to ETA it will prove the Basque separatist group has established a base in Portugal.
